...

I thought about this just now. I...either think this Earthian guy was a genius or a whack-a-loon, right now.

I got your point, kid, don't worry.
In short, technology = magic.

Yes, thank you.

How else could something the size of a cellphone keep me from dropping dead, right?

Or medicine, in general.
...the hospital Kyle works at makes me laugh a lot, now.

Knowledge is magic too. Just think if we were to visit a hospital from 500 years ago, we'd be able to save people even though we aren't doctors just with our every day knowledge on stuff like sterilization and what we call common sense.

'Common sense' has evolved by leaps and bounds, and I'm sure they'd think that we were magic to know as much as we do.

I wasn't laughing at it ,I was probably laughing at what Kyle laughs at every day.

And yes. When someone disses the germ theory, I look confused.

My Grandmother used to think that spitting in wounds made them heal.

I wouldn't want to know what she'd do for me...

Me, either, kid.

"Pale boy, you need more colour, you fast all day, put radish under pillow. Hungry body will soak up the colour. No medicine, no western bullshit, just radish."

Meanwhile, I die overnight, and she blames the moon.
